Sofia Barinova

Sofia received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Architecture at the Architectural Association in London, where her undergraduate work was nominated for the RIBA President’s Bronze Medal. Her final year thesis explored how environmental forces and locally available materials can be reinterpreted as spatial and construction systems, examining new possibilities for resilient urban interfaces.

Sofia joined ACME in 2025 as a Part II Architectural Assistant. She is involved in early design and concept development on a master planning project while also participating in ACME’s AI task group.
