Joshua is originally from South Africa. He studied at the University of Cape Town and Yale University before completing his Masters of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2016. Upon graduating with distinction, he was awarded the James Templeton Kelley Thesis Prize for a design which proposed a combined waste-to-energy facility and housing in Johannesburg.

Joshua is a registered architect in New York State where he worked for Snøhetta for six years. During that time, he was involved in projects at all stages of development – from concept design to construction administration. He worked on a variety of projects from medium to large scale, with a focus on civic architecture - specifically the New Main Library in Charlotte, North Carolina and Vesterheim Commons, the National Norwegian-American Museum & Folk Art School in Decorah, Iowa. Having worked extensively on public projects, Joshua’s interests lie at the intersection of form and public culture with a particular focus on the geometric opportunities afforded by contemporary design methods.

Joshua joined ACME after moving to London in summer 2022 and is Project Architect for Earls Court, London scheme.
