Cherry graduated from the University of Hong Kong and enriched her education as an exchange student at ETH Zurich. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant on Shenzhen's urbanism, contributing to a publication and showcasing her work at the Hong Kong/Shenzhen Architecture Biennale. After graduation, She gained practical experience in the design and execution phases of prestigious hotel and commercial projects in China and Korea.

She moved to Berlin in 2015 and worked at Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos and Sauerbruch Hutton, being part of the competition team for Guangzhou Science Museum and the parliamentary office Luisenblock. In addition, she played a key role as project architect for the refurbishment of the Beethovenhalle in Bonn and a timber housing complex for IBA’27 Stuttgart, deepening her expertise in building refurbishment, reuse and sustainable materials.

Cherry joined ACME Berlin in 2022 as project architect for the METRO Campus, in close liaison with the external consultants and construction work. She is also part of the New Work team and BIM team in Berlin.
