Cherry Cheung
Cherry graduated from University of Hong Kong and was an exchange student at ETH Zurich. Upon graduation she worked in Hong Kong as research assistant and architect involved in hospitality and commercial projects mainly in China and Korea, before she set off for Berlin, with her primary research interest in participatory and inclusive design, where she is qualified as architect since 2019.
Prior to joining ACME, she has been working in Berlin at Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos and Sauerbruch Hutton, taking part in winning competition design of Guangzhou Science Museum and Luisenblock the Bundestag parliamentary office in Berlin respectively; furthermore playing a key role as project architect in the refurbishment and extension of Beethovenhalle in Bonn and timber housing complex at IBA'27 Stuttgart, from which she consolidated her interest and expertise in building reuse / heritage refurbishment as well as prefabricated timber construction.
Cherry joined ACME Berlin in 2022 as part of the Metro Campus design team.
