Alanoud studied at the Canterbury School of Architecture, graduating with a Master of Architecture with a Distinction. In 2018 she was admitted to take part in the Venice Biennale and her work was exhibited at the City Centre in London. Over the last two years, Alanoud has been a guest critic at the Canterbury School of Architecture.

Alanoud joined ACME London in 2018 and has worked on several projects including proposals for the Leas Lift, a grade II* listed funicular lift in Folkestone; a mixed-use proposal in Bordeaux combining residential, commercial & retail; a masterplan for the seafront and harbour area in Folkestone; and the Euston Over-Station Development. In addition, Alanoud is a member of the office social team.
