RIBA SHORELINE TOUR

RIBA Canterbury and District will be touring Shoreline in Folkestone on 6th February 2025.

Located prominently on the Folkestone beachfront is Shoreline, a contemporary take on the traditional Edwardian curved terrace and the first phase of the Folkestone Seafront & Harbour masterplan. Shoreline is the first step in creating a vibrant new community along the historic seafront.

Shoreline is a collection of 84 houses and apartments inspired by Kent's rich architectural heritage, with uninterrupted beach views across the sea, stretching as far as the French coastline on a clear day.

ACME Director, James Denner, will be leading the group around the residential scheme talking through the design inspiration and the building's place in the context of the wider Folkestone redevelopment.
