Daedalus Waterfront, Lee-on-the-Solent has received unanimous planning approval. The historic 42-acre waterfront site will be brought back to life once again with 24,500sqm industrial use, 5,200sqm workspace, and 346 much-needed mixed-tenure homes, 76 of which will be refurbishments of the existing heritage buildings including the historic barracks square.

Central to the scheme is the restoration of the historic buildings, including the WWI hangars. These will act as a gateway; and will become the upgraded home for The Hovercraft Museum and a new public space for local events.

ACME has enjoyed working with Homes England and Daedalus Development Company on this regeneration project and is excited to see it progress to the next stage.
