BANK HQ IN LEIPZIG PROGRESS

The construction of the new headquarters of the SAB near the main station of Leipzig is finally commencing in earnest. Following on from the demolition of the old Robotron foundations, a 100x100m pit has been excavated, illustrating the scale of the building. 33m deep sheet piling was used to create a dry pit against a high pressing ground water table. The contract for the concrete frame has been awarded and building works are scheduled to start in November 2017.
